Every organization has its own domestic issues amongst the employees. These issues are important to the employees but not the customers being attended to. Today I had a nasty experience where as I was being served the employees were discussing their issues openly and the weakness of their employer.At one point I felt like telling them to excuse me I be attended to then there after they can continue with their discussion. The service was good but my ears were shy to the  unnecessary discussion. We are the image of our brands let us polish up to be the brands ambassadors.

At times some services are offered silently with minimal customer engagement. Today I came across a petrol station that was very spacious and had close to 10 pumps to dispense fuel. In this case customers were spoilt for choice on which corner of the station to get fuel from. No queues, service very fast and attendants to show customers that there are more pumps than the usual points in a petrol station. I would love to visit the petrol station again and give my compliments and get another service, #customer satisfaction.

Survey

If we don’t ask we will never know. Short surveys on customer engagement and satisfaction will  also help a company rate itself by consistently making use of independent judgement  and views on the customers feedback.long surveys sent to customers will do no good to a brand because hardly will customers capture their feedback on detailed questionnaires. We can tap their views by being precise and friendly in our surveys, they do not have to write. We can write and listen to them as many times as we engage with them. Let us engage them and enhance our listening skills. We can only be better and we will create loyalty in our brands.

Top of their list

Remaining on top of our customers list would involve having a personalized service with them, making them feel valued by addressing their queries and complaints in a professional way and in line with our values. Updates through emails, sms, letters, cards, visual displays and other means are also an important add to this list. They will  assist customers  in making more informative decisions and overall both customers and  organizations will clearly understand the other party expectations. In conclusion, let us all strive to serve way beyond our customers expectations to remain on top of their preferred list.

First class

When we offer first class service to our customers, that is a good send off pack that will always remind them that the next time they need the service they will  not try out  at a competitor’s. Good to ensure that what we pack for them service and goods in packs that will need to be replenished rather than come up with some every time they need our help. Refilling  and servicing is easier!
